You will have plenty of time<br>to read a book or try one of the numerous walks around the harbour.<br>Hotel: The Sands Resort Hokianga<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meals: Breakfast, Dinner<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 3: Hokianga (Tuesday 20th August)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This morning, we are taking the ferry from Rawene to Kohukohu.<br>We will visit this historic town, before travelling around<br>the small townships on the Northern side of the harbour.<br>We then retrace our steps to Omapere.<br>Hotel: The Sands Resort Hokianga <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meals: Breakfast, Dinner<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 4: Hokianga to Pahia (Wednesday 21st <strong>August<\/strong>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After another great breakfast we farewell Hokianga and travel<br>via Kaikohe and down to Paihia where we will visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Then on to our hotel located on the waterfront at Pahia, Bay of Islands. You are free to dine at your leisure in Paihia this evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hotel: Kingsgate Autolodge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meals: Breakfast<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 5: Cape Reinga (Thursday 22nd August)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we have a day trip to Cape Reinga. Our coach will take you<br>north to Kauri Kingdom where we will meet a local bus. This will take us to Cape Reinga and Tapotupotu Bay for a picnic lunch. We will stop at the famous Monganui fish shop on the way home.<br>Hotel: Kingsgate Autolodge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meals: Breakfast<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 6: Paihia &#8211; Bay of Islands (Friday 23rd August)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today is a free day to explore Paihia. You may choose to join the<br>boat trip to the Hole in the Rock or take a short boat ride to Russell. The guided tour of Russell is excellent.<br>Hotel: Kingsgate Autolodge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meals: Breakfast<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 7: Paihia \u2013 Bay of Islands (Saturday 24th August)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we travel to Kerikeri for the morning markets and visit the<br>stone store. You will then have some time to explore Paihia. After<br>lunch we travel to Kawakawa where we take a ride on the Bay of<br>Islands Vintage Railway before returning for dinner.<br>Hotel: Kingsgate Autolodge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meals: Breakfast, Dinner<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 8: Paihia to Auckland and home (Sunday 25th August)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we travel south via Whangarei to Auckland to meet our<br>flight home.
